Playing BooksMade Spades
First Hand Bids Itself
In BooksMade Spades general rules the first hand of every game bids itself. That means there is no bid phase for the first hand and your goal is to get minimum "board" or 4 books.
Bidding
After the first round, it's time to bid. In BooksMade Spades, you bid with your partner as a team. Tap your books and up to three “possible” books, then lock in your bid. You can even bid 0 as long as your team total meets board. And just so you know—no nils in BooksMade Spades (for now).
Bidding Up One
The first team to bid in every hand has the option to go up 1 after the opponents bid. Use this opportunity wisely, 1 book can mean winning, setting or bagging.
Blind Bidding
In BooksMade Spades when your team is down at least 100 points (bags included) you have the option to go Blind 7 (140pts) before seeing your cards! Both players must agree and if one says no then you will continue to bid normally.
Make Friends
Tapping a players avatar picture will open the player details modal. There you can see their ratings, streak info and if you'd like send a friend request.
Table Talk!
Ok table talk is BAD! But silence is boring! Use the speech modal to let the table know how you really feel!

Hand Recaps!
At the end of every hand you have a bit of time to check out the scores, books bid and books made from the current round. You can also swipe and see previous hands until the timer runs out or everyone hits continue.
Winning!
The game is over when one team passes the score limit (300) or if both pass the limit whoever has the highest score (including bags) wins!
Bragging Rights
So you conquered the Spades table? Destroyed your enemies?? The only proper thing to do now is GLOAT!! Tap the share button to copy the game score as an image to save to your phone or post on social media. Tag us!!!
